Biography
At the age of six, I decided I wanted to be a dentist. While it may have been a curious career aspiration for a six-year-old, I never wavered from my dream. I grew up in Winnipeg, Manitoba, but opted to do my undergraduate schooling at the University of British Columbia in Vancouver.
I wanted to trade the prairies for the mountains and see what all the hype was about. I fell in love with the West Coast, and quickly knew that this was where I wanted to be. For my farewell tour of the Prairies, I attended the University of Manitoba to study Dentistry and live out my dream. After spending one year practising in rural Manitoba between Brandon, Shilo and Portage la Prairie, I am excited to fulfil my goal of moving back to British Columbia.
I love involving patients in their own dental care – fostering a comfortable and easy-going experience. I enjoy taking the time to communicate with my patients, ensuring that everybody understands what we are doing, and why we are doing it.
I strive to bridge the gap between patient and dentist, achieving mutual communication and helping patients achieve their individual health goals.
