Here's how the Invisalign treatment process works:
1 - Consultation
To start your journey to a straighter smile, the first step is visiting your Surrey dentist for an Invisalign consultation.
At your consultation your dentist will do a thorough examination of your teeth and bite to determine whether you are a good candidate for Invisalign treatment.
If Invisalign is the right orthodontic treatment for you, your dentist will do a series of detailed scans then give you a preview of what your smile could look like once your Invisalign treatment is complete.
2 - Receive your personalized treatment plan
Using the scans or impressions that your dentist took during your initial consultation, your dentist will create a personalized treatment plan just for you. Your treatment plan will map out the steps of your Invisalign treatment and give you a good idea of what you can expect along the way.
3 - Aligners are custom made for you
Your scans will then be sent to the Invisalign manufacturing facility where your custom clear aligners will be produced.
Your Invisalign aligners will be made out of a clear flexible plastic called SmartTrack® and do not contain any BPA, BPS or gluten. Each set of aligners will be created specifically to fit your smile, and to gently guide your teeth into their corrected positions over the course of your treatment.
4 - Treatment begins
As soon as your aligners are ready, your treatment can begin.
Arrange to to pickup your aligners from your Surrey dentist. While you're there, your dentist will check that your aligners fit correctly, show you how to wear them, remind you how to care for your teeth throughout your treatment, and review your treatment plan with you. This appointment is also the perfect opportunity for your dentist to answer any questions you might have about your Invisalign treatment.
Throughout your treatment you will visit your dentist approximately every 6 weeks. This will allow your dentist to monitor your progress and make sure that your treatment stays on track.
5 - Live your life without interruptions
